Dr. Vasilis Nikolitsis
As the founder of Santorini Dental Clinic, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our practice.Dentistry has been an important part of my life for more than 25 years. During this time, I have had the privilege of caring for many patients — from Santorini residents whom I have known for years to visitors who come to us while staying on the island.
My journey in dentistry began at Semmelweis University of Medicine and Dentistry and continued with a Master’s degree in Oral Implantology. Throughout my career, I have continued to develop my knowledge and clinical experience, always with the same purpose: to provide thoughtful, comprehensive care tailored to each individual patient.
For me, dentistry has three fundamental goals: to relieve pain, restore function and create healthy, natural-looking smiles.
But experience has also taught me that dentistry is not only about technical treatment. It is about listening to the patient, understanding their concerns and making sure they feel comfortable and informed about their care.
I believe a smile is much more than an aesthetic feature. It is one of our most natural forms of communication and personal expression. This is why every treatment begins with understanding the individual — their oral health, their needs and what they hope to achieve.

Dr. Maria
Dr. Maria graduated from the “School of Dentistry at the University of Athens” and provides general dental care for adults and children, including children with special needs.
Her approach to dentistry is centred on making every patient feel comfortable, understood and cared for. She believes that building trust is an essential part of good dental care, particularly when treating children or patients who may need additional time, patience and reassurance during their visit.
Her work covers “preventive and general dentistry”, with a strong emphasis on maintaining oral health, identifying problems at an early stage and helping patients develop healthy habits that can protect their smiles over the years.
When working with children, Dr. Maria takes the time to introduce them gradually to the dental environment, adapting each appointment to their individual personality and needs. Her aim is to create a “positive and reassuring experience”, helping young patients become familiar with dental care and feel increasingly confident at each visit.
The same individual approach is particularly important when caring for “children with special needs”, where communication, flexibility and understanding are adapted to each child and their family.
At Santorini Dental Clinic, Dr. Maria brings together professional dental care with a gentle, patient and personal approach — helping both adults and children feel at ease while looking after their oral health.
